Kinesiology in a Nutshell
Kinesiology is the art and science of energy balancing. It identifies and corrects imbalances in the body and brings an individual closer to achieving their goals.
Kinesiology is defined primarily as the use of muscle monitoring to identify imbalances in the body’s structural, chemical, emotional or other energy, to establish the body’s priority healing needs, and to valuate energy changes brought about by a range of balancing protocols.
|Kinesiology also recognises that there are flows of energy (meridians) within the body that relate not only to the muscles but to every tissue and organ that go to make the body a living, feeling being.
The Professional Kinesiology Practitioner system was developed by Dr. Bruce Dewe, MD, and Joan Dewe – from New Zealand, and from the research contributions of dozens of practitioners around the world.
From ICPKP website –
Kinesiologists use muscle feedback as a stress monitor to identify imbalances in their client’s structural, chemical, mental and emotional energy systems. By correcting these imbalances the kinesiologist is able to re-activate the body’s built-in healing ability as well as identify external factors affecting the client’s well-being.
Kinesiology does NOT diagnose, prescribe or treat in any way, medical conditions or named diseases; nor does it attempt to keep people away from doctors, drugs, surgery, or the skills of any health professional when they need them. Kinesiologists do not treat diseases or ‘conditions’.
